Fri 6-8pm, Sat & Sun 9am to 4pm

Adult: $220

Day 1, Elevation Place Pool: The evening in the pool will be spent building confidence in the boats, learning how to 'wet exit' (get out of an upside down boat) safely, progress towards t-rescueing and if time permits we may even introduce some of the concepts related to eskimo rolling. This 2 hours is jammed full of valuable skills and information for our following 2 days on the river!
Day 2, Quarry Lake & Rundle Channel: In the morning your instructors will introduce the fundamental flatwater strokes required to be successful at whitewater kayaking. After a morning of becoming familiar and comfortable with the flatwater skills we will break for lunch before taking our new found skills to some slow moving water where you will learn vital skills such as eddy turns, ferries and maybe even practice your t-rescues in the current. Today is the foundation for tomorrow's river running day!
Day 3, Lower Kananaskis: This day will be spent applying all the skills from the past 2 sessions to a fun Class II section of whitewater.  For this session you will have the opportunity to run some fun, bouncy rapids, test the skills you have learned on some faster moving water and most importantly have fun out on the river. A great day that incorporates a good balance of river running, rapids, river safety training and skill development.
