Ski Club Registration

In an effort to reduce the amount of work being shouldered by our Board of Directors on behalf of the club, Strathcona Nordic Ski Club utilizes an 'online-only' registration system. Please read the instructions below carefully, before you begin registering, and double-check that all fields are correct and complete before submitting. Be aware that once you've submitted the registration you CANNOT go back and modify it; you must contact the registrar at membership@strathconanordics.com and submit a request for changes.

Important Information:

There is a volunteer requirement for all program

Early bird fees for program registration are in effect until November 30, 2009. After this date regular program fees will display. Membership fees are not affected. Rabbit registration will close December 31st to allow time for the coaches to get the groups ready for the first session.

There are seven steps to complete the registration via email. : participants. To fulfill this volunteer requirement the volunteering parent(s) must sign up for a club membership for insurance and liability purposes. This is a standard requirement for most cross-country ski clubs and for many other sports clubs. In addition we encourage all club members to volunteer in one of the many different roles.

Step 1. Selecting your Membership Type.
Step 2. Accepting the waiver.
Step 3. Enter the first person's details (add a program as applicable and select your volunteering preference).
Step 4. Review the first person's details.
Step 5. Complete steps 3 and 4 for any additional people. Remember to include all eligible family members if registering as a family.
Step 6. Review all information.
Step 7. Check out.

Membership Types

Sign up for a family membership or individuals.
Family membership includes adults and their dependent children under the age of 19 years as of December 31, 2009. Please include information for each family member that you wish to be included in the club.
Family Membership:	$75
Sign up here if you are signing up individuals and not a family.

Waiver

I HEREBY AGREE to abide by all the Rules and Regulations of Cross Country Canada (hereinafter called CCC), Cross Country BC (hereinafter called CCBC) and to participate in the events, activities and programs sanctioned by CCC and CCBC in accordance with the Association’s Rules, Regulations, and Bylaws.

IN CONSIDERATION OF CCC, CCBC and Strathcona Nordic SKI CLUB, acceptance of me as a registered member of the Association, and my being permitted to take part in the Association’s events, activities, and programs, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, forever release, discharge, hold harmless CCC, CCBC and STRATHCONA NORDIC SKI CLUB, its directors, officers, employees, representatives or agents.

I acknowledge that by clicking the box below I am signifying acceptance of this waiver on behalf of myself, my spouse, and my family members which is a requirement for STRATHCONA NORDIC SKI CLUB membership and program registration. I acknowledge that I am 19 years of age or older and that this acceptance has the same significance as my signature. All Club Waiver Forms remain on file with the Club for a period of three years.

Photo/Video Release
From time to time throughout the year, there are occasions for Strathcona Nordic Ski Club members to be photographed or videotaped. These photographs or videos may be placed on the club web site, used for promotional purposes (which may include publishing the photo in magazines or newspapers), used by coaches for instructional purposes such as reviewing technique, may be sent to Cross Country B.C. or Cross Country Canada for promotional purposes (which may include publishing the photo in magazines or newspapers) and other uses not specified here. At no time will the photographs or videos be used commercially without a separate written consent. I hereby consent to the use of these photos or videos for each family member of the club for any photographs taken during the season that the adult or child is a member as described above.
