The Club is affiliated with Cross-Country Canada (CCC) and Cross-Country Ontario (CCO) and is one of the largest and most successful clubs within the Lake Superior Ski Division (LSSD). The Club proudly hosts many races and special events each year. | The WCNSC is a small club dedicated primarily to providing residents of the far western portion of the City of Ottawa and surrounding municipalities, quality groomed trails. Program focus is limited to visits from a local school and casual encounters with individual club members and small groups. Athletes from surrounding high schools use these trails for training. All 10 km of easy to moderate trails are groomed for both classic and skate skiing. A new 5km classic loop opens this season, with access from the perimeter trail and one road crossing involved.
